What exactly is it about? I might consider editing this if it's got an interesting plot.

>> No.1415

I only really gave it a quick glance over but it's basically about a girl who finds out that her mother remarried and that she has a sister. She doesn't take the news well and shuts them out. Little does she know, the "sister" is actually two sisters, twins in fact, and they go around seducing the people who are secretly in love with the main character.

Or, in other words, it's a series about a pair of twins ruining their sister's life.

You forgot the fact that they did it to pretty much eliminate all competition.

I'd like to see this translated too.

I really like the art in this for some reason. I find it dynamic and very erotic.
Which is kinda odd in a way, because it's not all that "good".

I value expressiveness over technical skill. The author isn't particularly good in that regard but she (I think?) has a really appealing style.

A first draft for QC is available here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7rdm84k93aciorp/Sister%20Sun%2C%20Sister%20Moon_QC1.zip

Note: I have adjusted the translation two times, both on page two, as specified below:
"...Have you and you sister...met yet?" modified to "...Have you and your sister...met yet?"
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR TO ANY EXCUSES!" modified to "I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO ANY EXCUSES!"

Moreover: I have tried to include the hearths (♥) in the text whenever they where present in the original. I am not sure this actually turned out to be a good idea, so some of those hearths might perhaps better be removed again...

Thanks for updating the first page. Here's a first pass at QC.

Thank you for the feedback, I will try to implement this before I leave for vacation (in the beginning of July).

You mention that the selected font did not italicise that well, and I do agree with you. The fonts used in the present project are those mentioned under point 3 of the editing guidelines, wiki.yuriproject.net/guidelines#editing, and I must admit that I am a bit at a loss with regard to what might provide good alternatives...

Do you (or anyone else) have some input with regard to any fonts that might be worth investigating?

A second draft is now available for QC: http://www.mediafire.com/file/0bbito1a7ea0hka/Sister%20Sun%2C%20Sister%20Moon_QC2.zip

Please see the attached file for a collection of comments with regard to a discussion of the changes that differentiates this draft from the first one.

This is much improved from the first version. Thank you for your alterations. There are still a few text blocks that are a bit awkward, and a couple other general things that I'd like to see changed before a release; those are attached.

  1. I think the rescaling approach is probably preferable to changing typefaces for only a portion of the text. A simpler approach might be to use Wild Words that's both italicized and emboldened. I find that italicization alone is often not visually distinct enough from unitalicized text, and emboldening is also necessary in order to make the effect pronounced enough.
  2. I think the hearts are fine where they are in this draft.
  3. The new fonts look great. The floating text is much more presentable this way.
  4. Tall, narrow speech containers are the bane of every typesetter of mange that has to work with left-to-right, top-to-bottom text. With practice and some experimentation, it gets easier.
  5. These new fonts are great, too.

Again, thank you for your hard work.

The third draft is finished and ready for QC: http://www.mediafire.com/file/d9dwt2i38lg8gy3/Sister%20Sun%2C%20Sister%20Moon_QC3.zip

It turned out that the rescaling I initially considered turned out to give a result that really did not look that much different from the use of the "CC Wild Words Bold Italic"-font. Thus I used the latter on instead, but with the minor twist that I reduced the font size with one compared to the surrounding text.

I think this is suitable for release.

My apologies, but today I noted that one of the layers on the first page had been displaced a pixel to the left at some time during the final QC - and this resulted in some black stripes at the upper part of the right border.

A revised version of the first page has been uploaded with this post, and I have also updated the QC3-archive so the correct version is present there too.

Another ting:
I hope I will have the time to do a project or two this autumn - and with regard to that, I have looked a bit on the projects listed on the status page. There I have noticed a collection of six untranslated stories by Asagi Ryuu, i.e. http://nsfw.yuri-project.net/res/2013.html, http://nsfw.yuri-project.net/res/2012.html, http://nsfw.yuri-project.net/res/2011.html, http://nsfw.yuri-project.net/res/81.html, http://nsfw.yuri-project.net/res/2009.html and http://nsfw.yuri-project.net/res/2007.html
I would like to edit these Asagi Ryuu projects if translations can be provided.
